The spring now stands on our door step! The buds are swelling and the hormones makes this blue tit (Parus major) fiercingly defend his territory against any other bird - independent of size! The blue tit is a European cousin to the American chickadees and titmouses.

Autumn arrived , Leafs are falling , birds are spotted better in the trees.. These little Blue Tit gave me the opportunity to make a few shots. Liked this one the most because of the eye contact I had....
