Haukkavuori (Falcon mountain) rises 76 meters above Pitkäjärvi (Long Lake) and in history it has acted three times as a border line between Sweden and Russia. Since the beginning of the 19th century it has been in territory of Grand Duchy of Finland, since the beginning of the 20th century in independent Finland and since 1995 in less independent Finland in the European Union. Who knows what the future will bring.
