Donald from the three shots you posted I like this one the best.
The composition is very good, the twig comes in from the upper left corner and stopped just past the centre.
The OOF background makes the twig set free from it's surroundings.
The few water drops are captured also very nice.
I don?t know if the white from the blossom is a little overexposed , I am not sure....
Overall a quality photo in my view, I like it very much.

dry spell

Thank you Fons for your kind remarks. I'm going through a little dry spell just now where all my shot look like cliches to me. It's happened before and the solution was to slow down, pay attention to the basics and let the previsualization come to me. I will keep trying. I've always been better at the technique part of photography and not so good at the vision part. I know it's not a project that you do and then it's done. It's a hobby that you keep on working at and slowly improve at. No matter what it always gives me a lot of pleasure.
