Aperture setting

With a aperture of f3.5 the picture has a very good DOF the leaves in the front and the flower in the back are almost the same sharpness, can you explane this .

A tricky picture ??

I see that the process applied is ?cropped ? so there is no post processing ? I would come up with a double layer picture. If not you need to help me out on this one.
