Coble Landing is a slipway to the beach at Filey on the English North East Coast. The Coble is the traditional fishing boat of the area and they are launched from the beach, demanding a flat-bottomed boat with a high prow to cope with launching into the surf. In the background is Filey Brigg, a promontary consisting of boulder-clay which erodes easily, causing the characteristic paterns in the cliff.

Great composition

Mike,
I really like this composition and subject matter. I am having trouble with the sky.....too bad you could not have the blues from the Mull of Galloway. It seems the grey of the sky does not add much.

NO SUBJECT

I agree. I will do something about the sky and re-post. Thanks!
