These paper wasps built the nest on the roller door frame work to my garage and I have been watcheng them for some time and this is an image I took a few weeks ago.

King of the Mountain!

I like the "look" of this image; but the mass of blurred wasps in the foreground becomes too distracting for me.

Have you tried blurring even more the bees in the foreground? Maybe cropping a bit closer?
PaintShop Pro XI will let you selectively blur an image.
