Nice shot works well in B&W.

The Countryside
I love this stuff! This old house is worthy of a whole series. And if the colors of the building and its surroundings are similar to that in 'Countryside 2' then this may be worth checking that out in living color. The house looks like it would be worth photographing from so many angles. Did you have a tripod? Another f-stop or two would have helped.
Once again the roof got washed out, and even though you know there's a whole lot of texture in that old lumber it seems a bit soft. At that low a shutter speed, even with a 28mm lens, you're going to lose a bit of detail that you would have gotten using a tripod.
Ciao!

Thanks
Leon,
I was on my way back from the races to a hotel and it was an impulse to pull over. I didn't have much light left and it was beginnning to rain. This one was taken from inside thr car though an open window. In the color version the washed out roof looks worse than this...........
