the white horse, dorset

The white horse is one of the largest chalk horses in England, and the only one with a rider. It was created in 1808 as a local tribute to King George 111, who was a regular visitor to Weymouth in Dorset. There is also another chalk figure in Dorset of which is the Cerne Giant. If you wish to find out more go on google and put in the whit horse of osmington. regards kirsty.
