Beautiful picture, excellent composition, as usual a very good job with the panorams. Best regards, Ricardo

Hi Steve

I like this shot, you inspire me to get to the tops of the hills instead of always being at the bottom of them, I must look out for this tower when I'm next out your way.

Regards Ian

This is a very nice lanscape shot, Steve. Sheep add live to the picture. Using ND filter sometimes can be tricky, even more with multiple stitching. It looks like one stop less in this picture may make the exposure of sky and FG grass more balanced. Slightly turing the filter counter-clock a little more may avoid the exposure difference near the bottom of the tower. Just some thoughts to share. It is an excellent picture. I like it very much.
Best regards,

Thanks for your comments Ian, if you go past the Strines Inn and look over to your right you can't miss this tower high on the hill.
Cheers Steve

Thanks for your comments Lee they are very much appreciated, using the Graduated ND filter as you say can be tricky especially in a situation like this when you have an object other than the sky in the graduated area, I could have turned the filter as you suggested but because I was doing a panoramic shot it would have created more problems with the overlap from stitching so I thought this would be the lesser of the two evils while getting a better balance between sky and foreground than not using a filter at all.
Cheers Steve
