Nice picture Andrew, like the Bamboo how it curls around the rose, The rose it self could be a little sharper I guess.
The background is a bid hard don't you think....?
I would go for a few tones softer or black.
But as you know black is my favourite...;-)

this was a mess around in the house and much to my wifes horror i started attacking her flowers and
bamboo :) well she would only buy more anyway :(.
talk about missing the shot, today i was on the way home from our caravan and passing a farmers field when out popped a beautifull barn owl with a mouse for its night feast and flew buy me around five foot in the air. :(

That would be the shot of the day Andrew....
I be all eye's for a owl to complete my collection no luck untill now....;-)
Now that you know where the owl is you can wait for her and try to make a good picture from it...
