Nice Photo and great colors....
I have a question. On this kind of photo, is the auto focus works fine or you correct it in manual mode ?

Thanks for the comment.
The ED300mm and the EC1.4 work fine together as also the Auto focus.
I have not manual adjusted the focus in this picture , sometimes however I do because of a twig that is in focus and should be OOF. In this case it whas not nessecery.The focus point "the bird"whas big an of.

Yes I use the EC1.4 , I used it before I had the ED300mm on the ED50-200mm.
I like it very much because it gives you that little extra you sometimes need.
As I wrote to Bruno, the Auto focus also works fine with it.

I used to get a pair of Jay's that visited my garden at my last house but since moving have not seen any again. I really love to see these birds so thanks for reminding me what a colourful bird they are with your excellent shot.

I have seen this Jay for the first time a few weeks ago.
They showed up two of them as a copple I guess.
I managed to take a picture from one bird the other one was out of site.
Realy like these birds also , they are so colourful .
