You probably all know that the famous Dutch colour is Orange. Today the wife came home with orange roses and yes I had to take a picture... No flash just the light from a 40 watt lamp, that explains the long shutter speed.. Hope you like it to.....

Orange Rose

I like that softness of the petals. Now, since I got E-500, I am waiting for spring, to try it on flowers and bugs and green meadows and valleys, etc. Anyway, this image is very nice. How did you come up with this background? Was there orange cloth on the table that caught the shadows of the leaves?

Hi Sergey,
Thanks for the comment , I am glad you like the picture also.
The background is orange carton board.
I placed it there to stay in the same colour tone as the flower..
You don?t have to wait for spring to try, buy a few Roses for the lady...;-)
I am sure your E-500 will do a good job on it....
