ISO 400 why

Can you explain why you used ISO 400, I think this is way to much, the picture is also blown up to much due cropping I guess.. Could be a excellent pic , this is not... sorry for the hard comment....;-)

Why ISO 400 ??!! (Fons slowly get nervous) All your macros are shot under exellent light conditions it seems but without using a flasch ! Is it just sunlight ? This foto has pontentials.. regards
