Take off 2

Thanks Bevellee, Glad I was that I had my camera with me and was able to make this shot. I was waiting to make an other shot when it would airborn but the Swan did not get an off lift and after a long run it staid in the water.

Swan

Nice picture Fons, backlighting makes the shot, you were lucky to have a position looking straight down the water at the approaching bird.

Thanks Phil, We have some water running behind our house, there are two couples of Swans. One couple has offspring and the other don?t. As soon as the two couples get to close the get very upset and displaying it with hard running and clapping the wings very hard on the surface off the water. Have seen it a few times but was always to late to get a decent shot. Finally I was there on the right time and location. Sometimes you have to be lucky to get a decent shot. Anyway thanks for viewing and your comment.

Fantastic !!!

Fantastic shot with superb timming here Fons, I can even see the feet of the bird just barely skimming the water surface before actual take-off.
