Mount Emei in the most rainy place in China and its annual rainfall ranks among the highest in whole Asia. On most days the 3000m high summit is shrouded by mist and fog. I guess I have been blesses by the Buddha or whatever because also on my previous visit 5 years ago the weather was also fine.

Personally, I like it in b/w. Was the lens you used water-resistant?

Yes, E-M5 and that "old" Zuiko 12-60mm are both water resistant but the adapter I am using isnīt.
But thatīs not critical - I can always put some black tape on it to make it water resistant enough.
I was ready for that but this time there was no rain.
