This is another one of your perfect, flawless shots. Was this taken within a fashion shoot, or how else do you manage to take so many photos of this type? I remember you mentioned once that you don't do this on a full-time basis.

Can you share some information about the ligthing technique used for this shot?

Alfred,

Thanks for your kind words. It was a portfolio building shoot for both myself and the model.

As far as the lighting, I'm not 100% certain as I was switching between a couple of different setups, but I believe this was two lights. I was shooting against white seamless paper and wanted the background to be gray, so I used a 22" gridded beauty dish that was off to camera right and just barely in front of the model. My fill light was a 40" reflective umbrella at about the same position to camera left, feathered in front of the model. I may have had a hair light also (a small 24" softbox on a boom above and slightly behind the model, but I think there would have been more light on her left arm if I had that light powered on. I was going for a moody look, and decided to brighten it up a bit when I processed it, so I did bump up the exposure and fill light a bit in Lightroom/Photoshop.

Fully agree with Alfred

Nice, perfect shot, perfect lighting and perfect composition. A classical "Greg" shot with a creative model position. I'ts always a pleasure to discover your shots among the other samples.
Keep up the good work.
