Wakefield Kite Festival on Heath Common, Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I moved around quite a bit to get the viewpoint where the octopus kite seemed to be looking at the horse. Unfortunately the horse wouldn't look up!

Quite Nice

Mike,

I believe that's one of the perils of working with animals...they've got a mind of their own and never seem to want to cooperate!

Very Cool...!!

I love it!!

Which lens?

Oh, you used your 40-150mm kite lens! ;)

This is a fun eye catching image. It has a couple of distracting elements, the people in the bottom left corner probably could have been cropped out. Not sure if there's much you could about the person behind the horse, but that is much less noticeable. Overall a great composition with nice colors and the image tells a story and is very interesting.

thank you Greg, you are right about the distractions. I actually had a copy of this picture where I had cloned out the people on the left and disguised the figure behind the horse - I just uploaded the wrong version and never noticed!
