This is a beautiful example of a combination of a colour and black&white image. How did you do that?

Thanks Alfred,

I played with colors in LR environment. Killed all colors except Yellow and Orange! There were hardly any color on the bridge anyway.

This is beautiful, I love it!
I must experiment and see if I can do something similar in Elements.
I just wonder if it would improve to select some of the more scattered orange bits and convert them to monochrome leaving only the parts that are important to the composition?

Leonardo's Garden 2

Very nice piece of work Bijan. I usually do not like a capture that has had a makeover except for maybe simply cropping, but this photo work has aroused my attention enough so I would like to learn the basics at least and give it a try. Thanks for sharing...Dave

Dave!

I used to be same as you, since I am coming from Analog world, where 99% of result was determined at the instance of pressing the shutter bottom, but after playing with specialized software like LightRoom, I am enjoying digital photography much more. However, I hope it doesn't cost me the obsession I had when I was ANALOG!

Thanks for your comment...

Mike!

I had received same comment elsewhere. I did as you proposed, and it looks better. Especially on orange leaves on the right hand side on image. Those on the ground at the left hand side seem OK to me.

Thanks for your comment.

Really like this processing. I sometimes do the same in Picnic or something similar. But with those leaves it would take forever... Beautiful image!
