Macro of a wasp on my curtains.

Various: Experimenting with a new STF-22macro twin flash on a wasp that was walking around my living room curtain today.

Very sharp macro of this wasp. The ED 50 together with the 25 EX is really difficult in use. With your twin flash and F 22 you made a great shot.
A little bite more crop on the right site seems to me better. Congratulation!

Thank you Hans. Yes, it is difficult but when one come out well, it's worth the trouble. The twin flash works well but has one disappointment for me. It attaches too close to the outboard edge of the 50mm lens. To get close enough to focus properly on an insect (with the ex-25), the flashes must almost make contact with the surface the insect is on, risking them to be scratched for instance. I would be happier if the attachment point could be a little closer to the camera.
