This is a friend of mine, he's a med student like me. Here he is working on a dissection of the popliteal artery and veins (I believe this is how it spells in english), that's the space behind the knee. This makes part of a series of photos I'm making too draw the process of this kind of dissection but, IMHO the other pics are too violent for those who are not medical-related workers.

Dramatic portrait

I dare not ask what Jose is working on. But the intensity and layout are good. It might be cheating, but I would even try to loop the background and make it all a shade darker so Jose becomes the focus of attention in a dark setting. Good change of pace subject matter for the forum Christiano. Also a little text to explain the subject would be useful my photofriend, Aloha, Gerry

Nice idea!

Hi Gerry, thanks for your kind comments. Your idea is quite interesting, as soon as I can I'll try that, also a bit of blur too... If I get nice results (that don't look too manipulated) I'll post them. Cheers! Cristiano Alves

NO SUBJECT

I would personally have no problem seeing more medical photos if you have them. I find it fascinating and informative.
